Pools are made, not of water, but blood,
Many brave men are swimming, stained red,
Swords clash, arrows fly, axes smash,
Shields splinter, armor splits,
Screams from the wounded split the air.
Villages are torched, great towns and cities fall,
There’s no rest, not even for the dead,
In the time of war.
